Mark Tyler is a PGA Golf Professional based on the Bradford & Leeds border. He is the resident Golf Professional, providing golf lessons at Marriott Hollins Hall Hotel & Country Club, Baildon, Ghyll Beck Golf Driving Range, Baildon and Fardew Golf Club, East Morton just outside Keighley.
Mark became a fully qualified member of the Professional Golfers’ Association in 1995. His ongoing professional development has allowed him to attain Class AA Membership. He was one of the youngest Club Professionals in the country running his own golf retail business for 7 years.
In 2003 he established ‘MT Golf Academy’, coaching golfers of all ages and abilities on a full time basis. He works extensively with schools and organisations within West Yorkshire, as well as coaching for the PGA at venues all over the country.
He has a Sports Psychology qualification and is currently in the final stages of the PGA Advanced Diploma, notably studying coaching and sport science areas. He has studied numerous teaching methods, and has attended coaching seminars hosted by some of the worlds most respected coaches, including Butch Harmon – former coach to Tiger Woods.
His simple, easy to understand approach to the swing, has improved many hundreds of golfers, further enhanced by his use of the latest video swing analysis systems.
