4 YEAR OLD ‘ARCHIE’: COMPLETES JUNIOR GOLF LEVEL 3

MT Golf’s youngest pupil, 4 year old Archie Brooke, has just completed level 3 of the Golf Foundation Junior Golf Passport scheme.

Archie (pictured) starting having lessons with PGA Professional Mark Tyler in August 2010 at just 3 years old. He took to the game straight away and quickly moved to weekly sessions with Mark at Marriott Hollins Hall, Baildon.

The Golf Passport covers: Golfer’s Code (rules/etiquette), Putting, Short Game, Long Game & Playing.

Mark commented “This is a fantastic achievement for any junior golfer, but given Archie’s age it is even more amazing. Archie has got a really great golfing future ahead of him”.

Congratulations Archie, keep up the good work!

Lesson prices have been reduced during January:

Offer 1 – Half hour individual lesson (usually £25) NOW £20

Offer 2 – Six half hour lessons (usually £125) NOW £115.00

Offer 3 – One hour individual lesson including video analysis (usually £45) NOW £40.00

Offer 4 – One hour lesson for two including video analysis (usually £50) NOW £20.00 each

NB. The driving range at Hollins Hall is now floodlit for lessons. Don’t let the dark nights put you off!

NEW Floodlit Driving Range at Hollins Hall

MT Golf Academy is pleased to announce that teaching facilities at the driving range at Hollins Hall, Baildon are now fully floodlit. The high powered projection floodlights provide an excellent view of the ball flight regardless of club selection.

Lessons can be booked individually or as part of a group (3 range bays available) regardless of daylight hours!

COMING SOON……FLOOD LIGHTS AT HOLLINS HALL

Flood lights will soon be installed on the driving range at Hollins Hall, allowing lessons to be booked after dark over the winter months. The installation is expected to be complete by mid October.

The winter period is the ideal time to make swing changes allowing plenty of time to practice ready for the following spring.

As the weather gradually turns colder and the dark nights draw in, remember lessons are available all year round!

Archie Brooke, age 4: Enters first tournament

Archie Brooke, age 4 from Leeds, played his first golf tournament at Stonham Barns, Ipswich and finished second with a fantastic score of 108! only seven shots behind the 6 year old winner.

Archie is my youngest pupil who started taking lessons at Hollins Hall when he was age 3. He has already completed level 2 of The Golf Foundations junior passport.
