Club news

Full House for the Team Open

Last Sunday was the Team Open with 105 golfers (35 teams of 3) taking part, 47 of which were visitors/guests. The weather was mixed with a strong breeze and some rain, although on the whole not too bad. Each team had a minimum of one Rabbit golfer (Handicap 16-28) with the best two scores counting on each hole (stableford).

Results were as follows:

2nd A Bedford, D Armstrong, R Howard 80 points (countback)
3rd K Iskauskas, D Watson, A Boulby 80 points
4th K Spiers, D Vaughan, P Hook 79 points (countback)

Rain never stops play at West Bradford!

As we approach the Autumn months and inevitable changeable weather conditions of the UK, don’t let bad weather stop you playing the game you love! Take advantage of our indoor studio over the coming months.

In your sight

Sightlines on putters might seem like a nice design, but they are there for a reason as they help you aim your putts more accurately, and help you centre the ball on your putter. But with so many different styles, it can be hard to know which one will aid you the most.

It’s up to you
If you prefer a more modern look, why not try the TP Red-White Ardmore 3?

Having a ball

When you’re watching the pros you’ll often see them hitting shots with amazing distance off the tee, along with plenty of spin from around the green. The way they strike the ball helps achieve this, but the ball itself is a crucial component of their game.

TaylorMade TP5 and TP5x

Here are two great options worth trying for a round or two. If you want a lower spinning and higher launching ball off the tee, the TP5x is for you. If you're after a softer feeling ball with a lower trajectory then you need to try TaylorMade's TP5 model.
