Studio news

Game on in the studio!

The clocks may have gone back but that doesn’t mean you can’t have your golf fix! We are one of the very few clubs within the Bradford area to offer an indoor facility fully equipped with the latest launch monitor technology.

Entry Fee: £30.00 per person
Format: 9-Hole Individual Stableford (full handicap) played monthly November to February.
Prizes: Monthly winner & the best 3 scores from 4 to decide the league prizes 1st & 2nd.

Following on from a successful shoe ‘Trade-In’ offer earlier this year, we are delighted to announce we are once again running this for the next couple of weeks.

Motocaddy Ex-rental Trolleys

We will once again be selling off our two Motocaddy S1 electric rental trolleys (18 months old) at the end of the year. Both are in excellent condition and come complete with battery charger and extended range lithium battery. The cost new would be £499.99 but we are happy to sell these for £299.99 each.

What cold weather?

An icy cold wind last Saturday didn’t deter the Juniors from attending the weekly coaching session. Below are a few photographs taken by one of the parents:

What do you take from this?

As golfers, there's nothing more satisfying than a shot which is perfectly executed - even if it is a rare occurrence for many of us. It could be a booming drive which splits the fairway down the middle, or maybe a wedge shot which stops dead, two feet away from the hole. In fact, when you consider how often we use our wedges during a round of golf - see the graph below - the latter is something that we should all be striving to achieve.

So, what do you take from the graph above? In our eyes, it highlights just how important your short game is. We see a lot of you spending time hitting balls on the range, which is great, but don't neglect the less glamorous side of the game when practising - it's where your score is 'made'.
