TaylorMade M6 first! The first fitting of TaylorMade’s M6 iron was carried out on Saturday with some superb results! The lucky young chap trying the M6 three weeks ahead of the official February 15th launch date, was 12 year old Archie who I began coaching when he was just 3 and a half years old! Archie was fitted for a 7, 9, PW & SW with the following specification: M6 Iron head fitted with a Fujikura Atmos orange shaft, 1 inch shorter than standard, A-flex, 2 degree flat lie and a Tour Velvet undersize grip. Archie also had a fitting for a TaylorMade M4 D-Type driver and M4 3HL fairway wood.

The start of a journey! We believe our custom fit service at West Bradford Golf Club is the most comprehensive available anywhere within the area! When you purchase your clubs, this is not the end of the relationship, but very much the start of a journey! We want customers for life and not just a one-off purchase. The Mark Tyler Golf five step custom fitting journey: 1. Book and attend an individual fitting appointment (typically 45-60 minutes), where we will discuss your requirements, supply clubs for you to demo, recommend a specification. 2. Clubs are ordered and an approximate delivery date advised. 3. Clubs arrive and a handover session is arranged at a day/time convenient for you. 4. A follow-up appointment is made at around 4-6 weeks to check everything is okay. 5. Further contact is made at 6 & 12 month intervals.
|
All of the above is FREE and included in the purchase of your new equipment! With lots of new and exciting products arriving and our investment in demo equipment and technology, why not give the Pro Shop a call on and see how we can help you hit longer, straighter shots and ultimately enjoy your golf game more.

Ball fitting offer Ball fitting is a relatively new concept for club golfers and can only be accurately carried out with certain types of launch monitor technology. The good news for our customers is that the Mark Tyler Golf Studio is equipped with the latest camera based launch monitor capable of taking 10,000 frames per second of the golf ball. We measure everything and never guess! Until the end of February, we are offering our customers the opportunity to book a ball fitting session for just £20.00! Included in the price is a sleeve of the balls you have been fitted for. Call the Pro Shop on .... to book.

Junior group continues to grow It may be January (just), but that hasn’t put off my regular Junior lesson attendees! In fact, last Saturday we welcomed three new starters to the group. All wrapped up with hats and gloves we worked on iron play, tee shots, chipping and finally a putting competition to finish.
A special mention must go to 5-year old Seth who won the competition on his very first lesson!

Are new clubs the key? It was the perfect start to 2019 for world number one Justin Rose, as he won the Farmers Insurance Open by three shots at Torrey Pines to claim his tenth victory on the PGA Tour. Rose, who has switched club manufacturers this season, showed no signs of rustiness as he drove and putted superbly throughout the week, with every round in the 60s. He had a brief wobble in the final round, with three bogeys in his opening five holes, but his nearest challenger in Adam Scott was unable to capitalise. Whilst there would have been some eyebrows raised at Rose’s decision to switch up the clubs in his bag having just reached the pinnacle of golf, his victory shows that even the world’s best can keep on finding ways to improve their game through a change of gear in the bag. If you think it’s time for you to do the same, come down to the shop and have a chat with us – we’ll be happy to help you pick the clubs which take your game to the next level.

The best keeps getting better |
Titleist is a brand which is synonymous with excellence, with the iconic Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls proving a huge success for almost two decades now. So, rather than wholesale changes to an already brilliant offering, the brand has made some subtle - yet significant - improvements for 2019, including a high optic yellow colour option! |

Golfers are greedy. We want to hit the ball further than ever but without giving up on anything else, such as feel or control. Well, the 2019 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls will give you more ball speed and less long-game spin off the clubface compared to previous versions, which is the perfect equation for increased distance. |
Couple this with amazing short game performance, and you have two golf balls that'll provide you with everything you need on the golf course. Not sure which one to go for? Come and chat to us in-store and we'll fit you for the Titleist golf ball which best suits your game. |
