“I would like to thank you for fitting me with the PING G400 LST, I played at Blackburn Golf Club on Saturday and shot +7 gross. Playing off 12 that isn’t too shabby and it was all due to the confidence I have standing over the tee shot.

To be able to find the fairway with confidence and feel that I could just hit the driver on the line I have picked and being able to have a go at the par fives and be on the green in regulation was a real bonus for me.

Mark Tyler Golf on Tour in 2020

The last few places remain for my overseas coaching/golf trip to La Cala Golf Resort in Spain, Sunday 1st March to Thursday 5th March 2020. A summary of the trip is as follows:

Four Nights B&B in Hotel (twin room) - Option for single room if preferred.
Three Rounds (One on each of the three courses) including buggies.
Coaching (range balls included).
Daily spa access (1.5 hours per day).
Private airport transfers.
All this for the fantastic price of £595 per person + flight/clubs (currently £155 per person).

Impressive win for Team Oik!

Last Friday I played in my very first BGGC Officials vs. Staff match - otherwise known as the Plebs against the Oiks!

The annual event is played as a 4BBB Stableford, with the points scored in each individual game added together. Staff had a total of 212 points versus Officials 195 points. The first win for the staff since 2013!

It was a really enjoyable afternoon, great company, superb weather and a delicious meal served afterwards by the clubhouse.

The views from Bracken Ghyll Golf Club never disappoint, and last Thursday evening was particularly special as the sunset over Addingham.

During my last lesson of the day I was lucky to witness this amazing sky!

TaylorMade Fitting Event at Bracken Ghyll

We are delighted to announce that TaylorMade will be supporting us this year with a Fitting Event on Thursday 26th September (10:00am - 2:00pm).

The event will be held in the indoor studio, with a full-time club fitter from TaylorMade in attendance along with myself.

I already offer a comprehensive range of fitting equipment, but there will be more product options and specifications available to try across the manufacturers full range.

A warmer option

As we begin the inevitable slide to Christmas (yes, I said it), it's time to ditch the shorts for some warmer layers. Fortunately, we have a range of mid-layers and jackets available through us that will keep you warm and dry whilst successfully battling the elements this winter.
