Golf on Tour

Hatton's happy homecoming

Tyrrell Hatton sealed a fantastic victory at Wentworth in the BMW PGA Championship over the weekend.

The Englishman played some outstanding golf from tee-to-green, setting up birdie chances aplenty thanks to a near-perfect ball-striking display. Finding the right part of the green was key to Hatton's success over the weekend, which saw him enter the World's Top 10 for the very first time.

One of the slightly more unusual talking points from the weekend was Hatton's clothing; more specifically his hoodies. It seems to have people split and, whilst it won't be to everyone's taste, we'd love to hear your thoughts - send us a message below.

Course News

Great feedback!

It's great to see the course still busy with members, guests and visitors.

The course is in lovely condition for the time of year and we've had lots of great feedback from golfers.

Last Friday was the first of the popular Winter Open series with 18 teams playing a texas scramble. Almost the entire field were non members, who were extremely complimentary of the course and club generally.

Lets hope the weather remains kind and we can all enjoy an extended golfing season!

2020/21 Studio Winter League at Bracken Ghyll

Bookings are now being taken in the Pro Shop for the Mark Tyler Golf 2020/21 Studio Winter League.

One-off Entry Fee: £40.00 per person.

Format: 9-Hole Individual Stableford (full handicap) played monthly November to February on a pre-selected course (tee used / weather conditions etc. will vary).

Prizes: Monthly winner & the best 3 scores from 4 to decide the league prizes 1st & 2nd.

Book your monthly game on a day/time convenient for you - play will now be on an individual basis due to the governments new tiered system.

All you need to do is sign up and play your first 9-holes before 30th November.
